We make the biggest and cheapest bigger bolstering their purchasing power and they in turn beat producers to outsource for cheaper production elsewhere. Consequently, the locals go out of business. We are doing it to ourselves. Shop local as much as possible and when you do, pay in cash (transaction fees). You vote multiple times a day-- with your wallet.
