Hey, I'm talkin' science here. Science knows no borders, as we may well see when that black hole swallows our planet.
Seriously guys......I can personally attest...finding anything made here (USA) is virtually impossible. The other day I LOOKED for a USA made paint brush, finally found a Purdy brush...the rest were Hecho in Mexico or stamped China. Our country has a corporate tax rate second only to Japan and don't get me started on worthless regulations..I just had an OSHA inspection today. Looking at my taxation and regulation hurdles, if I could, I would consider moving my business to Mexico or even Canada as their system is now more business friendly than ours , supposidly the land of free enterprise. I love this country but the politicians and bureaucrats are killing us. after all it is not government that hires people it is business and the cost of doing business it getting higher and higher. Dave , I feel your pain and have several friends out of work in the energy (oil) industry because "they" wont let us drill our own oil right here ! There is also a whole valley in California of out of work people (30,000+) because irrigation water was shut off by bureaucrats to protect a minnow and lets not forget our logging industry and finally our dry wall producers. All beat to death by taxes & regulations and those taxes and regulations cost jobs, my friends jobs and maybe eventually mine too. It is time for us to tell the politicians, STOP ..We need to build things in this country not burdon the ones that are the builders ! ....I'm not being partisan I'm being American. viva la revolution'
