I've heard you guys talking about these grips and was wondering just how good they really are???? Is the price $100.oo?? If so they must be fantastic... Do you need to drill out the wieght inside the handle bars?? Do they reduce the vibes at some speeds?? Thanks in advance.. V.

YES , they are good ! NO , they don't cost 100.00 , some of our vendors have 'em for around 68.00 . NO , you don't have to drill anything . Go ahead and get a set , and while you're at it , get the Throttle Boss . ( 15.00 )

If you can, get the one that will fit over the stock throttle sleeve. If you can't, keep the stock one handy on trips.

+ 2 and particularly with the throttle boss on a trip. I originally thought they may have felt a bit too large but I was wwwwwww, wwwwwwww, wwwwwwwwrong. 
Staintune Pipes, K&N Pods, 45 pilots, TBS needles and 145 mains.

Thanks guys... I'm not sure where I heard you had to remove the factory weight from inside the bar ends... They look cool.. I think I'll be ordering a set... You said I can order from this site???? Hmmmmmmmm. Sounds good to me. V.

I actually like them a lot, just wish mine hadn't broke in the middle of no-mans-land.

Brrrr. I would be shopping for heated grips. Are the ISO grips a larger diameter then the oem grips? Seems to me they are. you might consider why hardely reduced the size of their sportster grips several years ago. Never did like the IOS grips much, though for me, moving away from oem always takes a while. Eight years and 114K miles to remove a snorkel and install a K&N.

Dude, I'm pretty sure we were back in Illinois when it broke, but who can be sure, you had us zig-zagging back and forth across the river at least 6 times!!

I had the ISOs. My only real beef with them was that:
1. they are much longer than OEMs. So, the brake and clutch only run 3/4 of the way down the grip. I had a couple of misgrabs, forcing me to get used to keeping my hands more 'in-board'.
2. Much Thicker. Fellas with smaller hands..like me.. need to get used to the new reach length for the brake and clutch.

I really like my ISO's ..... that was the first thing I did on all my bikes, but yes they are longer but not a bad thing to keep your hands in a bit, helps my shoulders to not ache

I can't say enough about how comfy my ISO grips are, and I really think they look sharp. The grip pads are raised slightly, and that little bit helps a lot in moving air around my fingers when it's a 110 degrees out! It also seems to cause me to grip less tightly and I'm more relaxed. I can ride all day and never feel it in my hands... I have the throttle boss on the end too, which gives the wrist a little break. Again, the whole setup looks nice, and they are solidly built!

BTW: I paid about $65 shipped off ebay for mine, and another $!5 for a throttle rocker. Be really careful with that "death grip" glue that comes with it... That stuff is crazy. Test fit first. ;-)

I got the ones that fit over the stock throttle sleeve. They DON'T fit the throttle sleeve out of the box. I had to dremmel the ribs off the stock throttle sleeve PLUS about 1.5mm (1/16") off the stock sleeve. Even then it was extremely tight fit and no glue was necessary. I had to use soap to get them on and the rubber required a lot of re-adjusting to get it back in its proper position. The left grip fits right out of the box and required glue.
These are the Kuryakyn ISO-flame grips part #6262.
Note: Kuryakyn don't say this part will fit our Triumphs. They do say the #6236 will fit our bikes but the 6236 is the complete throttle sleeve grip which has prematurely broken for some on this forum.
I figured that because both the 6262 and the 6236 fit the Honda cruisers then the 6262 would also fit our bikes. I was wrong. The Honda cruisers must have a smaller diameter throttle sleeve. Still, they do fit with some modding.

ISO grips are the goods. I switched because I put different handlebars on my bike and the end caps wouldn't go on the new bars with the oem grips. They are larger in diameter, so I guess that could be a problem if you have tiny hands. Installing was a royal pain, lot of sand paper before I could get the throttle side to fit. It's true that everyone and his brother has these grips, but that just means they're good.

I forgot to mention I also have the great throttle boss which fits only kury grips and I'm yet to internalise my bar's electrical wiring and fit the LED bar-end blinkers.
