I went back to using a Mac early this year. There were a few driver problems with my printer but they were resolved within a few weeks. My flatbed scanner, on the other hand, simply would not work. I finally found a software fix but it would cost about $60. I was about to do it when I saw an new scanner, color printer, fax, copier for $59 at Sam's Club. Great resolution, outstanding OCR capabilities and a pretty good backup printer. A huge improvement for less money than just making my old stuff work. At the rate we're going they'll be giving this stuff away in a few years.

We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.
