Right after you had me rollin' with laughter with your snappy "Blew BY you" comeback here, I left to take my dog "Moose" to the local dog park, from where we've just returned.
Now dig THIS!!!
On the way there while I was still chucklin' to myself about that comeback o' yours, I had the radio in the Silverado turned to an Oldies station, and the third or fourth song they played was a Linda Ronstadt song, WHICH I then started REALLY chucklin' to myself about what a coincidence that was.
But THEN it suddenly hit me. The song they were playin' would have been the PERFECT comeback YOUR comeback!
Yep, it was her cover of Buddy Holly's "That'll Be the Day"!!!
