As for me, I'm finding too many threads by allegedly non-partisan instigators who delight in inciting political comment then calling foul when they get the response they were so obviously looking for. Boring!
We know more about their political views than their motorcycles. I'm tuning out more and more.
Thanassis created a site with plenty of room for philosophical/political discourse, but I seldom see any activity there. Pity.

To be honest with you here John, seein' as how this thread has seemed to serve its ORIGINAL purpose, AND seein' as how that purpose was to help people direct their "opinions" in more of a fun and positive and "acceptable" manner, AND because this thread was "mine"(so to speak) to begin with...I now respectfully request that you DO indeed lock it!!! Oh! And ALSO because that there is a new Baseball Playoff thread goin' on around here now TOO, of course!
