You know how you keep sayin' that there are other members around at this website who are just as opinionated as you are and attempt to post those opinions here? Well, first I don't think that THAT'S quite accurate, BUT for "argument sake" let's say you're right, okay?!
And so, "if" that is "true", then there HAS to be a reason why it seems I pay special attention to your offerings than it may seem I do to others' offerings here, even among those who it might seem may hold very similar opinions as you often seem to profess at this website?!
Well, the reason for that IS...and MAYBE you don't know this...BUT, it's common knowledge among the members of this website who have been here long enough to remember the days before the so-called "new A.U.P.s" that it was your actions and your general lack of civil discourse during the era when certain topics were somewhat allowed to be discussed here, which in fact was the primary reason for those "new A.U.Ps" to be instituted here in the first place.
And no, before you think that's only what the "liberals" around here think is "common knowledge", I KNOW for a fact that even those folks around here who hold very similar views as yourself, yes, "conservatives", also acknowledge this "common knowledge" as fact.
And so you see, this whole thing is much more than just the idea of people "slippin' in" the political viewpoints into thread or even starting those kinds of threads around here. Nope, it's more the MANNER in which they do it. In other words, there is a somewhat civil manner in which to do that, and then there is a un-civil manner. And unfortunately I (and as I've previously stated I'm not the only one to hold this opinion) believe you often seem to be incapable of this civil manner in which to offer your viewpoint, and that it's NOT usually the content of those viewpoints you share with us that is the most objectionable factor here.
And, I wouldn't have attempted this "final appeal" to you IF I thought there wasn't a chance of you finally recognizing those "new" A.U.Ps just a little more, and maybe joining us in trying to "keep it lighter" when those topics which beckon to us to "go off" DO come up around here. Because I KNOW you and I will probably seldomly be in agreement whenever those potentially "heated" topics DO seem to be "slipped in" around here on-the-sly anyway.
(okay folks...I've tried here...I guess we'll see what happens next, huh?!)
