You know, I've been caught many a time in my travels being pelted with the wet stuff and have found that if you spend some money on good warm and waterproof gear, the experience is something I consider fun.
I'm with you on that one there Staff. Just today (which is my last ride of the season I figure) I got caught in the rain... in the COLD rain. Oh, it was maybe 5 degrees C and the rain felt like needles as it hit the face. Finally my face was so cold it felt like it was burning. When I got home it took hours for the deep red colour to recede to normal skin tones. But man, was it FUN! I had a grin on a mile wide and I was laughing through a lot of it.
It reminded me of what it was like as a kid to play outside in the good ol' Canadian winter when the face, hands and feet got so cold ya had frostbite but ya didn't care 'cause you were having too MUCH FUN!!
I don't go looking for rain either but when it happens I just love to roll 'er on and ride on through it!!
Live to love, love to live.
