I gotta say that while putting an additional 7500km through Europe on Thanassis' 1996 R1100RT (which he told me he had named "Saffina" after some famous bedoiun's trusty camel, but which I soon re-named "Ol' Paint" after an old saga of a Cowboy's trusty horse...I'm from the Southwest of the U.S. remember ...but I digress) that I was so impressed with all of that Beemer's quailities, such as its smooth-running motor, comfortability, handling, available storage quantity and reliablity(and it already had over 200,000km on its clock before we even left on this ride) that I had thoughts of lookin' for a nice used RT Oilhead BMW Twin myself once I returned to the states.

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)
