It seems it's always the driver's side that has the worst rust. Up here at least, I attribute that to the salt being splashed up on the driver's side from oncoming vehicles during winter. It seems things like rocker panels, fenders, doors and floors rot out more on the driver's side than the other, 'round here anyway.
