I'll second what the greybeard guy says. I have had a 1948 Chrysler Windsor for a few years now, and the 6 volt electrics work fine. Make sure you get the biggest 6 v battery you can to start it, usually at a farm store. These old cars turn over slow....And check out the internet, there are some great sites for old chryslers, including P15-D24.com. and Post War Heavy Metal .com sites.
