I've been using Kenda Kruz tires front and rear lately. Previously I tried Metzler Marathons (long lasting but pricey) & IRC Wild Flares (inexpensive but wore out fast).
The Kendas are half the price of the Metz, but last just as long. If you want to go fatter, you can go 130/70 on the front.
If anybody in OZ knows a dealer in Queensland where i can get Kenda tyres can you please let me know. Last time I enquired I was told they were not available in Queensland.
