Since changing to long TORS, my bike has been running really hot, and since I am in the process of taking care of it, I figured I would do a couple of extra things.
So, next is taking the snorkel out, changing the air filter to Uni or K&N, remove AI and re-jetting (got to get access to a PC for the Jet Calculator)
Then will come the balancing of the carbs and fuel mixture. When I had my old Yamaha XJ750, I used a Gunson Colortune along with the Morgan Carbtune.
Anybody still using the Colortune? 'Cos you're always talking in number of turns for the fuel mixture screw (I am assuming that you close the screw completely and count the turns counterclockwise, right?)
I think I still have my Colortune in a drawer somewhere...
