Just got them. Size 38 fits exactly like a pair of Levis. These are comfortable, and slightly heavier than Levis. The entire aft/a.. area has an extra internal layer of cloth, which is Kevlar, and a large knee area also. Both areas of Kevlar go longitudinally from seam to seam. A video was very inpressive, of the company's founder volutarily being dragged on his but at about 100 mph, wearing the jeans. Anyways these are very comfortable, and to the casual eye, they look like any other pair of jeans. They also have deep front pockets. I also ordered the knee pads, which would provide a lot of protection, but are not that comfortable when off the bike, as they are against your bare skin. I probably won't wear the knee pads much, but the jeans are great, and the extra Kevlar material in the knee area will also probably help keep the knees warmer in cold weather. I commute on the bike almost every day, so comfort and looks as well as protection were important.
