Since I started this thread I've read your comments and done some of my own research. It seems some of you may be right... deer whistles do nothing. However, there is a different product on the market called the Hornet.

Still have to check into that product more but it seems a good idea for now. Dang deer... and their populations are on the increase. That makes me feel better (NOT!!!).
