Whoah, that freaked me out. We have slicers in the restaurant and not surprisngly, a lot of safety rules and training. Some moron always decides it would be quicker to clean the blade by turning it on. Those cuts are always clean, sometimes the finger can be saved.
The slicer scene in "The Wrestler" made me cring more than any horror movie scene I've ever viewed...
