Please excuse my ignorance here, but what exactly is the main complaint about stock shocks and springs - too stiff, too mushy, unstable, bottoming out or what? Aside from rearranging my vertebra on bad expansion joints at 70 mph my '05 SM seems to handle the road very well. I wonder if it was already upgraded front and back - any way to ID shocks and springs from outside?
