A Harley Davidson mechanic neighbor, who is currently moonlightling as a school janitor dropped off a book for me to read "Rebuilding the Indian" by Fred Haefele. Fred's apparently from Missoula and besides being a arborist (tree surgeon) bought a 1941 Indian Chief in 1995 for a restoration project. The book goes into all the sorted & assorted places & people he found along the "parts trail". It's been pretty interesting.

Of course I had a fringed seat on my 02 America just to confuse and irritate people .
