Well I've got totally gutted stock pipes (which are very loud) and I can distinctly hear the noise over the pipes. I hung down off the side of the bike while riding (quite a feat in itself) and the sound is definately coming from the motor. I'm kinda with Ian here... the bike runs great for a change... I'm going to convince myself not to worry about it. I'll have it checked out when I do my big bore!
