Distance riding depends somewhat in the rider. Though the America and Speedmaster are not built SPECIFICALLY for long distance riding, I find my America is perfectly comfortable doing so. These bike's are a compromise. They handle better than most cruisers, but not as well as a sportbike. They do ok for a distance cruise, but not as well as a "goldwing couch". I regularly do 600 to 1000 mile rides, with no complaint. However, many members here don't care for the seat, for long distance, and they change it to a Corbin, or other.
