actually Phil, I was thinking about getting one too, but an open one, for the move to Colorado (WHEN and IF this ever happens) I would just tow the VW behind the bike, but really don't want to wear out the chain doing so, but I have found that I can have the bike crated and shipped for what it would cost me for a simple open trailer and hitch, so... I may still change my mind though, cause I can still use the trailer for hauling trash, appliances,etc... Have you tried Lowes or Home Depot, they sell simple, decent enclosed trailers. Not sure on the pricing, but it's a start. OH, they do have one other functional purpose, since God forbid, the bike decides not to run one day (I don't expect this), and I can't figure it out, I then at least have the option of hauling it to the dealer. Actually, I just remembered, I saw a REALLY slick open trailer that's made in Dahlonega, believe it or not. The platform pivots on the axle, so you lower the platform down, ride onto it, then winch it up to the frame and lock it in place. No ramps needed, and about $1500. Sweet looking and you'd have to ride up to Chy's to get it!! Double bonus!
