yeah I dont wave very often, but this is an uptight stance about the issue.
I'm pretty sure that the military stopped the saluting for liability issues. Its a bit unfair to make a soldier risk an accident because he has a responsibilty at all costs to do so. Riding with one hand doesnt mean certain death, nor should it be an all conditions riding position either.
