I don't know Keith, but it kind'a sound to me like you're puttin' the cart before the horse with all this "Ceasing to wave" talk o' yours here!

(and besides, EVERYBODY knows that Yoda was REALLY just a clean-shaven Fozzie Bear, or at least sounded an awful lot like him anyway, and I think we all know how dumb that darn bear was, RIGHT?!)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

I waive my right to comment on this witless conversation about a biker named Ceaser who probably rides a Harley, doesn't wave to Triumph riders and is not even here to defend himself.

Who had a seizure? Are you saying someone had a seizure? And they couldn't wave for help?... that's terrible!

I'm with Dwight. When I had my fishing boat. Everyone waved. When I had the wimpiest motorcycle of all, a Honda Rebel, still everyone waved. Now I have a real motorcycle and I still wave. Not in the middle of shifting gears, not in turns, but I'm an unrepentant waver. It shows esprit de corps. It is tradition. Are we buying into the notion that everyone whoe doesn't ride (or wish they did) subscribes to that motorcycles are so unsafe that we can't take one hand off the handlebars without fear of the bike spontaneously crashing? This whole thread is ridiculous. If waving is a problem to you, then maybe you should ditch your bike and buy a Prius.

Thanks for agreein' with me Ricky, however I'm gonna have to ask you to go sit over there with Scottdog, my friend.

You see, once again I think some of you guys took Stephen's[NIbiker] thread here a little too seriously, for once again I DO BELIEVE the reason he posted this thread(which BTW was originially posted correctly in the "Lounge")was because he meant it as a joke(hence why I believe it should have stayed in the "Lounge" and not moved to this particular forum by one of the moderators), and thus I still can't quite figure out why some of you guys here seem to be taking this so seriously???!!!

But yeah, if ya wanna take this seriously, I agree with you too. Waving to fellow riders, no matter what brand they're passin' the other way on, is my way of sayin' to 'em, "Cool dude(or "dudette"), I see you TOO have found how much fun a person can have once they've discovered the wide world of motorcycling!"

Yeah, who moved this thread anyway???

Some people, including apparently one of the moderators, must have their upper arms in casts.

Send Freedom a PM to move it back. He's only working half-days and I use the term "working" lightly.

(I didn't move it, BTW)

Hey John,

How's the rehab coming along? Good to see you're on the mend and the comments on the upswing. Bet you've always waved at other bikers (even Friar) the odd time eh?

It was originally in the lounge, as Dwight mentioned. The original post was obviously a joke (though a seemingly large percentage don't get it) so was appropriately posted.

But that's OK John, it's about run it's course.
