I've been thinking about the future possibility of boring out my 865 speedie and was wondering how hard it was to take off the barrels as a means of sending them away to this mob.

Of course I haven't done much research around where I live and I'd really love to do it myself anyway.

So if the freight from Aus wasn't too drastic, can anyone fill me in on whatever else I would have to do besides send them the barrels.

I also noticed there was no talk about increasing the size of the ports. Is this preferential or are there certain probs with doing it. Also, without talking to them, if increasing the port sizes was a good option, do they include valves etc.

One final thing, can anyone in Aus tell me whether boring out a stock bike has any ramifications to Comprehensive insurance. I wouldn't imagine there is but just wanted to check.

I'm really just self taught being on here for 2 years as well has using the manuals so I do all my own servicing including the shims etc but this takes it to another level. I reckon the sense of satisfaction in doing this myself though would be just awesome. In fact I'm feeling a chubby coming on as we speak

So yeah, any feedback would be really appreciated.
