Well now, that wouldn't be true in my case. I even watch the tach in my Jeep and would love one on my bike. I did however ride a TA with the Triumph tach and didn't like the location. I also found it to be too small and hard to read for my not-so-young eyes. I loved it when bikes had the twin gauges mounted out in front.

But yeah, I would read the tach all the time if I had one. Would be useful too if yer playing around with sprockets.
