I too have the Specialty Spares (slash cuts) and have enjoyed them. I did modify them a little to get a bit more noise and was successful!
They scream when I grab the throttle. They look pretty new except for the occasional scrape, dent from Florida road rocks!
I have ridden with folks that have Epcos, SS, Sceptres, TOR, and Thunderbike. They are all great pipes, and each has a distinctive tone. It is all up to your taste. If I had the money, I would get the Sceptres.
