ok, good to hear as i replace chain, sprockets, and steering head bearings at 50K. What about other mechanical bibs & bobs - wheel or swing arm bearings.
I'm just wondering what's next.

Congrats!! I just hit 100K last month on my 2000 HD sportster 883cc (i know wrong brand) But those kind of miles on any bike is alot. I've put all of mine on since I brought it new. What year is your bike? I'm sure yours was a smoother ride than mine.
Do not look back and ask why, look forward and ask, why not?

Ahhhhhhhh........, a Cardinal Red 2002, perhaps the most highly sought after Bonneville America made to date. Ride safe Stewe and don't be such a stranger. We always are in need of "voices of reason" in this neighborhood jh
