Hi.
I've I have just changed my Tiger for an America. My question is if I wanted to put shorter pipes on would i have to alter the fuel injection system. Thanks

If the pipes you install are a lot less restrictive, like the Triumph TORs, you'll have to get the EFI re-mapped. Dealers do it, they have the map. If the pipes aren't too free flowing, like the pipes from chevy605 (see Vendors section), you won't need a re-map.

Hmmm.... an ex-tiger owner in South Wales. I know a tiger owner in South Wales. He drives freight trains for a living. If it's you, then life is freaky. If not... then ignore me.

But I have an 09 (now) too. There are several ways to change the pipes, and the cheapest way (and therefore the way I've done it) was to but a pair of stock slashcuts and take the back baffle out. There are two perks to this. 1, I hate the tapered pipes. 2, it's cheap as no one wants the stock pipes. Oh and there's no need to re map. My pipes were £40 off ebay. Within 24 hours they were drilled and on. Yeah they are as long, but look a whole lot better.

And welcome.... I know how to say good day in Welsh... but spelling it is another matter!

Thanks GinaS bit confused what did you but the stock slash cuts too and why take the back baffles out of the new pipes.
