Ive never considered not being covered because I didnt have an inspection sticker. Makes sense that they'd fight it either way, but I would think they wouldnt have a case unless the accident was in relation to why the bike wouldve failed. Like if you got into an accident because you didnt have blinkers or a stoplight, with no inspection sticker, yeah I can see that. But if someone blows a stop sign and plows into me, it wont matter if my pipes were too loud or not. You have a point though.
In NJ inspection is free, so its not about saving money...I just dont want to fail if I dont have to. Ive known a lot of people without inspection stickers, but none have been in an accident.
