If an item is going to be painted, I could see the logic of not wanting to use a stripper. Ok, I don't want to use a stripper either as I truly repect them for who they are.
But I digress. Anyhow, I would think that using a stripper for items you planned on polishing would be fine. I would think that with all the other materials that will be used during the polishing process that you can be pretty sure that all the stripper material is gone. That is of course provided that you are doing a thorough polishing job. Correct?
