I remember back a couple of years ago that someone had posted a piture of his installation of a right-angle inline fuel filter. I tried a search but cannot find that picture, or the post. Anyone remember the fuel filter manufacturer?
thanks

I have a "Versa" brand in-line fuel filter. You just reminded me to replace it, as it has been on a few seasons. It was a few bucks locally.

K&N makes a right-angle fuel filter. Didn't fit on my bike as well as I thought it would.

Visu Filter offers right angle see through filters. 1/4" will work with worm drive hose clamps, but 5/16" (8mm) is indicated for our bikes.

I've looked high & low, and can no longer find theirs (or anyone else's) 5/16 right angle filters.

Wow, this thread might have saved me from a serious issue.
I replaced my Versa filter this evening. It was in very bad shape, dark brown (versus clear) and the fitting ends were very soft and pliable. It was only a matter of time before it cracked, leaking fuel all over. I guess the engine heat must be working on the plastic? According to my records, it had been on for just over two years and 10,000 miles.
I'll definitely replace it annually!
I'll pop a picture of the old one later this evening.

Mine did the same thing Al.

If I could find a 5/16", I'd switch back to a spring type clamp. One of these days...
