I finally got my spare side cover sprayed black and put my new chrome decal on it.... I think it turned out pretty dang nice! Hard to get a picture of though.

I want to thank tmax again for doing the leg work on the decal, he found a shop to make it, all I did was call them and order a couple. Of course, that was a couple years ago now
The shop is

Not only a touch of chrome but a touch of CLASS!! Nice going on that one Dave. Also like the 'Made in England' on the swingarm.

You got a lot going for that bike.

Very nice! The first month I owned my bike, I didn't have that side cover on all the way and it fell off going thru an intersection. It was a little scuffed up and I was able to buff out 98% of the marks. One day I'll get it repainted and that would be a great addition. Is there a way to get additional copies?

I was wondering that. Or one that says Bonneville America Sport (with the Sport like on the TBS) for my 03?

Gina 03 America - Pretty stock - except the TBS wheel... 06 America - missing, presumed in bits. With it's TBS wheel... 09 America - It's very blue....

I can only say to call hightech and see if they still have the it on file. The product code from my invoice is RTA 01-S. I've had the decal in the envelope since May of '08. If I remember right, they had it to me in about a week after I ordered it.
My spare side cover had been sitting at my painters shop for over a year (no big rush anyway), I went in on Wednesday asking if it was done and he said it would be ready the next day. I gave him the decal and my original side cover so he could line it up to match perfectly and then clear coat over the whole deal.

Will they verify that people who are buying that decal actually have real '02 Bonneville Americas and not those poser 03-later Americas? We can't have people cloning true TBAs.

Ok, John, if I get one, I promise to cut it in half and put the Bonneville on my Bonneville and the America on my (07) America.

So my TBA isn't really a TBA, nor a BA, but just an "A". Hey, I can agree with that....

It's well known that some of the '03s got left over TBA covers...

Nice work Dave. Little things like that always make a big difference, expecially for the bloke who owns the bike and who sees the imperfections all the time. thanks for the pic
