Me again,
Since my last post I've been on a 3 day bike ride using the big shot but not only that, I was able to put on the Memphis lowers too which between the two, made this ride as good as they come.
I need to mention that over the last couple of years I have realised that the more protection you get from the air going over your head, it appears this creates a pressure variation where the inverse amount comes up from below. I first noticed this when I bought an accessory (forget it's name) to lengthen my Clearview and whilst it did seem to lessen the headwind amount at the top of my helmet, the air coming up from around the tank was almost as bad.
Anyway, I already had Memphis shades lowers so decided it would be a good idea to see if they work. I'm not even sure how I've mounted them is correct but not only did I like the look, they really did make a substantial difference to the amount of wind coming upwards.
Anyway, it's one of those things that you have to do yourself to appreciate but I would be very surprised if like me you weren't thrilled with the result.
Fyi, here's some pics but I should first mention this, on full lock the edge of the lowers do touch the tank badge which will be sorted with a little bit of tinkering.

And finally, the Flying Wombat
