As mentioned in my earlier post, I purchased clamps that were a little wider and it felt as though it dramatically improved the ability to "bite" into the lip. For what it's worth, the clamps were purchased at the local Home Depot..They were in the plumbing area. They were similar to those included in the kit except they were a little wider and the screw seemed to be better integrated.
