If the post had been "What is the view from the seat of your bike?" I would have taken that pic. Since it was about the mount I took a pic of the mount. I can see the speedo just fine. Obscures the odometer a bit unless I lean slightly forward.
This kind of self righteous stuff gets on my nerves a bit. I don't think that using a device like this to get route directions verbally rather than looking down at a map is wrong in any way shape or form. Those of you that have never looked down at the map in your tank bag while riding are most likely not the norm. It is just a matter of managing the risk since you cannot eliminate it totally. Why would you be opposed to that?
