Using those statistics there were no younger years on bikes for most. The men in their 40s are new bikers not old ones causing the rise in numbers. If they were going back to biking they would have already been a 25 year old statistic leaving the 40 year old result with a null value.

IMHO the 40 year old is buying a cruiser and having the fun he missed because he just got divorced and is allowed to do it now. It is affordable, fun, and he does not have to ask permission. The metrosexual man from the 80s is finally free.

They turned over their testosterone on the alter to the highly demanding 80s females who ran their lives as if the guy was real property. The only risk they ever took was not to hold the door for her highness.
