Saw Freedom at his house in Thompson Falls yesterday and met his mother, too, one day after the "authorities" in Spokane released him. He's looking good, well, what passes for good for John. He's hobbling around the house with a walker and everything. There's some question as to just how long his mom can stand him bossing her around like that. Tote that barge, lift that bail, etc. Get well soon, buddy.

Cool... this is good. Home always feels good and I'm sure will help expedite his recovery. Poor ol' Mom though... I bet she worries about Freedom getting another bike.

None of that as of my last visit, but we unpacked his boxes from British Columbia and I bet his saddlebags are mounted up as I type this...

Thank you all for the continued well wishes. The surgery recuperation is progressing fine. However the narcotic-based pain pills completely knocked out my digestive system, meaning a simple BM was no longer so simple-yikes!!!!!!  Better now, so the world looks nicer again. I'll be home for at least a month. jh
