Best stainless exhaust???? I know here we go again with ???s about pipes! *note I have BUBS & they are great but the weld rust and I went down last yr and have not replaced them yet. I like the Shaker mufflers, but do not know what they would look like or if they would work. any suggestions would be great.

J C Whitney !!! Then build your own baffles modeled after the performance mufflers. Or not. (Unless you disagree with the old saying about a fool and his money) The expensive ones get road rash & dents just like the cheap ones. Look around.

Septres and Staintune are the best stainless. Septres are cheaper, had em on my America since spring 03 and they still look new.
Cocktail shakers are a different matter. I've never seen any in stainless. I have Manx cocktail shakers on my 76 T140V, they sound great, but someoneon this forum tried the same pipes on on their Speedy/America back in like 03 or 04. He thought they looked great but sounded very bad. For some reason I can't get in to the archives to search for the post.

Epco's here too. I like them a lot. Plenty of noise and they still look awesome. The Sceptres are louder and deeper than Epco's. Your doing right by looking for stainless pipes.

Staintunes here. Still almost perfect, and they have the advantage of the easily removable baffle.

I like my Epcos. They sound right, look good and added a good amount of power.

If you want quality that's second to none and aren't afraid to pay of it, you can't go past staintunes
Staintune Pipes, K&N Pods, 45 pilots, TBS needles and 145 mains.

I had EPCO's. They looked great, but the sound was a bit loud and raspy for my tastes, so I sold them to someone who loves them, and my speedy now has debaffled stockers from Chevy.

I just bought a pair of EPCOs and the quality and workmanship is outstanding. They are polished so well you'd swear that they were high quality chrome. I'm probably gonna take 'em off and put the stockers back on though...The EPCOs are just too loud to suit me. I'll put 'em in the classifieds if I can't get anyone local to take 'em.
