I too was really concerned after riding my first lengthy few hundred k's and new straight away I needed help. First thing I did was get on here and ask questions and was told much the same thing, change to progressive suspension both front and back and look at buying a descent seat.
So I bought a corbin saddle with backrest and Hagon nitros rear and hagon progressives springs for the front.
Yes it did take a little while to get my corbin to feel right and now I just do not get a saw backside ever. The hagon nitros required me to get the springs rated to my weight, which I did and now I have got it sussed.
Over your way I hear a lot of you blokes are buying the progressives and provided you can get the springs rated to your body weight and also feel comfortable you can adjust the pre-load for more or less weight and not require different springs, then you cannot go past having a chat to Fast Eddy. He is not only as honest as the day is long and a top bloke to boot, but he'll make sure your purchase is one you are absolutely happy with. I've got no doubt whatsoever about that. Good luck
