I know have Thunderbike pipes and K&N air filter and I was thinking of re-jetting.

What is your opinion, I used calculator at dinqua.com and with current setup I should go with 125 main jets with Thruxton needles (want to put those in too) and I was wondering if I want to do something with the airbox (Polaris bellmouth etc. etc.), should I go with 130 jets instead without running too rich??

I´m totally new to re-jetting so I would really appreciate some help and opinions. Thanks.

If you've already calculated with your airbox snorkel removed, K&N filter, and your pipes, the bellmouth shouldn't make much difference. It would be better to be a hair on the small side with your mains than too large. I'm running a similar set up but with SS pipes. I'm still running 125 but 128 might be closer for me. I'll confirm on next dyno run.

I remember way back when I was asking these questions people led me to believe that the Thrux needles were way to rich for the 790 motor and recommended the TBS needles which I currently run. During normal round town excelerating I feel a slight mid range flat spot but never when I really excelerate with aggresive throttle movement.
Thoughts?
