I stand corrected I though 64 was the change to 12V at the factory. I do know the 12V stator and rotor fit right where the 6 came from with no mods except except changing 6V componants to 12v. What I was also saying was that it is positive ground not negative ground like most things in the US. I don't like the electronic ignitions because when they shut off they shut off, there is no along the road fix. I always carry a spare breaker plate with points already on it and my timing tools when on the old bikes.
