Yo Harley, what's with giving those 1st world bums first crack at the good stuff?

XR1200X now available in selected markets.

I was at the stealership begging, bribing, and finally threatening... no dice. The earliest USA arrival will be in Jan 2010.

Imagine that thing with a proper set of black-rim wire wheels? I'd still love to take a ride even on the standard XR1200.

I knew that front end looked strange, I couldn't out my finger on it. Thanks for that!

A lot of guys run those small Sporty headlights on choppers. It's an HD look, the squashed in light. I kind of like it.

I've seen the XR1200X on HD UK and HD German sites, so I am guessing Europe.

Maybe they should expect the Uk and the Germans to bail them out and keep them in business then. Don't get me wrong, I own a softail. Have owned several, bought my first on at 16. Don't ever intend to be without one. Just never have liked the way the MoCo does.

Well, at least it'll be here without all the hate and discontent wrought by their early decision to not sell the XR in the States.

And it's BLACK

It looks like the bike was put lengthwise in a vise. Kinda squished.

Fugly. It's black to try and save the awful design. The regular sportster wasn't ugly enough so they had to make this thing.

Just like everything else they make. It'll look interesting on a trailer, but a pile o' crap on the road. Better luck next time guys, that thing is hideous.

Yes, the flat screen headlight allows you to ride on letterbox format roadways and enjoy the view with minimal distortion...

I was looking to see what the aftermarket had done with pipes. Those stock pipes are pretty ugly, and the aftermarket hasn't come up with anything much prettier. Vance & Hines has a dyno sheet on their site, 90-couple RWHP with their system. That's not bad for a HD.
