Do you mean rear wheel horse power? I don't think so. Sorry...No. If you think so...time for you to put up the sheet.

So...136 with stock carbs eh (see pic)! Stock carbs eliminates the turbo theory and any big bore big enough to actually make that kind of power. That only leaves nitrous and I dont see a nitrous bottle so Im going out on a limb here and tell you that dyno run was not accurate.
Nice bike though. Heres his bike...

When did Hooters start doing dyno runs? I don't think the 1200cc Bonnies are getting 136 rwhp, so neither are you. At least not on a Triumph P-Twin.

Not callin ya a liar, but there is no way you can get 136rwhp on an America/SM unless you maybe have the 1200 stroker kit AND a turbo with no rev limiter at all. So I gotta call BS on the dyno numbers. The dyno or the operator have brain issues. Or maybe you got a rocket confused with an America/SM?

It's likely the dyno that's the problem, not damien. But what would the dyno operator have to gain by reporting abnormally high numbers? Could it be calibrated wrong for bikes of this displacement? What gives?

Damien, just teasing, nice bike and welcome to the site. You will find the site very informative, and if you listen to the people here (other then me), you'll get very accurate info., and if the general opinion is that someone is mistaking, they probably are.

ok...LIAR!
Look...before this gets WAAAAAYYYY out of hand...your 790 cc (55 hp, if you have a FREAK, pipes and its jetted just right) America can not, and I mean THEREISNOWAYINHELL, make as much power as a Rocket 3.
Take a look at all the dyno runs here: Dyno runs link and if you still beleive you made 136 ponies then more power to you.

No, it wouldn't. Most bikes on this site show dynos of about 40-80 HP. The best tuner/builders can not get that kind of power out of these motors. The modified motors are pulling 55 HP + up. Judging the book by the cover (pic's), It is fair to say it JUST IS NOT POSSIBLE. But keep on trying, thats what we all do. You can see the other dyno sheets elsewhere in the site. Good luck.

The proof of the pudding is in the tasting.
Or something.
(IIRC, the turbocharged Speedmaster from the dealership in Edmonton "only" pulled around 100hp.)

Hey Damien... sorry for the ribbing...we can be a somewhat insensitive bunch at times. It was all in fun.
By the way, you didn't have to pay for that dyno run did you? If so, contact the fellow and ask for you money back. You stated that you did record it?

That's definitely one for the dyno table Sorry, couldn't help myself Damo. Why don't you get a REAL dyno done with a printout as a form of verification.
