Hi i want to fit white walls to my speedy can any 1 tell me where i can get them from and the make also what size i can go to on the front, would prefer the same make of tyre for both front and rear if pos , Thanks Andy

Mine are Maxxis classic 120/90/18 front(may have to modify the front fender bracket), rear is stock size. Someone has said they may have stopped making these tires, but I don't know for sure. check the usual sources, j&p, dennis kirk, motorcycle superstore, etc, but be prepared to dig deeper if they don't have 'em.

eyup.i use avon venoms on mine real good tyre.only got a whitewall ont back stock size.bought it from a guy on ebay called japscrap got a good deal on it.got a 120.90.18 ont front.just found japscaps number its in whitehaven 0194663380

Thanks Mate , i can get the rear with white wall but cant get the front with white wall at standard or 120/90-18 where did you get your front ones from spoke to japscaps he can sort out rear but not front,

Well dang... I was looking forward putting on whitewalls next year. Sure hope we can find both front and rear.

The best that I have come up with from the same maker is Dunlop. The K177 120/90-18 front. And the K555 17/80-15 back. The only other choices that I found are Avon Venom 17/80b-15 and Metzeler ME880 17/80-15. As far as the Maxxis, I haven't found them in White walls. Guess I will go with Dunlop on front, as much as I hate to. I'll stay with my Avons on the back. Hadn't bought anything but Avons in over 30 years

You can get one off ebay, shipping may be a little higher

got my front tyre from local tyre dealer had t order it tho.if ya put a larger tyre ont front thal afta alter th fork brace,lift it up a bit grind th sides out a bit.also the bolts that hold th mudguard on need shortening.ridin on th motorway at speed th tyre expands

I have been running the Dunlop Whites for 4 years. Living in the city I have had to break hard on MANY occasions. These are fine tires.
