OK, I've seen plenty of motorcycle riders wearing all kinds of crazy stuff but this takes the cake. I wish I had a camera handy. I pulled up to a traffic light and saw this guy. He was wearing those rubber Croc sandals and a speedo bathing suit. He had a tank top tee shirt and a german style helmet. The strap that holds the Croc's on was flapping down below his heels. This guy looked like a nut.  What is he thinking and how in the ****** do you shift with Croc's on. I'm not going to say what kind of bike he was riding but it wasn't a Triumph.

Uh Ron based on the amount of rain today (and this summer) he was just skipping the need for rain gear. He was just swimming on the bike.

Guess you have never been to Myrtle Beach. With temps in the 90's its flipflops, shorts, and tanktops. Think its hard to shift with crocs. Lots of folks with black rubber marks on thier toes.

When I was a kid I spent a lot of time at the local swimming pool. One day the lifeguard left for lunch on a bike wearing no more than swimming trunks and a helmet. He went down on a corner with a bit of gravel. He lived... but oh my gawd!!!

Sounds like a description of what Uncle Eddy in National Lampoons Vacation would wear. I have to side with those who think shorts, sandals, etc. is not too smart.

I must admit on my recent jaunt across the pond I was absolutely amazed at what people wear when they are on bikes.
Although you do get people inapropriately dressed over here I shudder to think how a pair of cut off jeans, running shoes, vest and really small helmet will cope with a spill.
It wasn't as though it was that warm and to be quite frank I thought the roads were pretty cut up around Massachusetts compared to other places I've seen over there.
Before the war on terror, if I saw an unattended package I used to think "I'll be having that!"
