That would make Harley a copy of Triumph.
Cant find anything on Triumph ever building a v-twin, but Zedel built the first one in Switzerland in 1902. Indian built their first one in 1903, but did not mount on a bike till 1907. Harley came out with v-twin in 1908. If any info on Triump v-twins, I would like to read it
