The beers in Oz are very nice too, I really enjpy VB and wish we could get it here, but no one imports it.
Bud here is kind of like Fosters is over there, for the unlearned and for export. It is a mediocre lager at best.
If you ever get over this way, there is a huge micro-brew thing going on and there are tons of truly outstanding brews being made in the states these days. Both the east and west coasts have several mainstream micros now and the number is growing each day.
See, don't get me going about beer....
