No offense, but STP oil filters are bargain basement and not known as a quality filter. I'd opt for a NAPA Gold, K&N or Pure One filter for a few bucks more. The Triumph filter is actually pretty decent and was less than the NAPA Gold or K&N ($10 now).
I think STP filters like Bosch, Mobil and SuperTech are made by Champion filter company in Japan. Better than average in most tests. Champion makes most of the OEM filters for the major Japanese motorcycle companys. This is not the Champion of Spark Plug Fame but a completely different company.
