Yep I did completely disassemble the front for polishing. Had both trees and the lower fork legs done. We painted the modified upper covers black. looks very sharp, the polished/black contrast. The lower tree was $60, including the paint stripping and polishing to within an inch of it's life. This piece came out nice. I wanted to go chrome but roper decided on polishing instead. We finished it off with a couple coats of clear to preclude rust.
