I've had 3 sets of Avons, and while I don't go 100 mph, I do know that once the rear is "showing signs of wear" it ain't long till it's showing cords. A panic stop where you lock up the rear really hastens the process. And the fronts seem to cup badly after about 2500 miles. My experience - YRMV... More flags More fun!
